Opportunity to join a team of technical specialists to assist with data and integration work and projects on a casual basis.

• $44.02/ hour (HEW Level 3) plus employer's superannuation.

• Casual role. Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.

• Work with a team of technical specialists.THE ROLE

The Data and Integration team within Information Technology is seeking a proactive and dynamic assistant to support the team on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Manager, Data and Integration, you will:

Work closely with the team and cross-functional teams to develop an understanding of integration requirements and business needs to be able to contribute to data integration work/projects.

Provide technical assistance to the team to support the design and implementation of efficient data workflows and integrations using Python and SQL.

Assist with monitoring and tracking integration progress to ensure smooth data flow and communication between different systems.

Assist the team in building scalable and reliable data pipelines.

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, optimising performance and ensuring data accuracy.

Keep up to date with best practices in data integration and system architecture, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Tertiary qualification or working towards qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.

Knowledge of system integration and software engineering principles and fundamentals.

Knowledge and experience with Python and SQL.

High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
