Job Summary
Assists Catering Manager to execute all catering duties of the Catering Department which includes various office tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive and resolve inquiries including business related decisions as assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform variety of clerical duties and other duties pertinent to the establishment.
- Assist Catering Manager to plan and coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, event setup, staffing, and logistics, while ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Assist Catering Manager to supervise and train catering staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, resolving complaints, and ensuring their satisfaction with catering services.
- Collaborate with clients to design customized menus, taking into account dietary restrictions, preferences, and budgetary considerations.
- Manage inventory and ordering of catering supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing practices.
- Along with Catering Manager, work with Production to oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist Catering Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote catering services, increase revenue, and attract new clients.
- Assist Catering Manager to collaborate with other departments, such as sales and event planning, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to catering operations, including contracts, invoices, and client information.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Associate or Technical Degree
- One year of relevant experience

Physical Demands

Approximate starting hourly rate: 19.00 - 22.00. The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.
