Essential Job Duties: Rave! Catering is seeking individuals to join our Pack as a Catering Driver. Rave! Catering employs experienced, certified chefs and catering professionals to provide high-quality service for successful events.

Key duties include:

• Transport food, equipment, and staff for Rave! Catering.
• Pick up prepared foods and deliver to campus retail locations.
• Transport campus supplies within Campus Enterprises departments.
• Load and off-load cargo for delivery or pick up.
• Assist in pulling inventory to be delivered.
• Other duties as assigned to ensure NC State Dining business needs are met.

Dedicated staff provide on-the-job training. We offer flexible schedules, growth opportunities, and potential for permanent positions. This is an hourly position with a State-required 32-day break at the end of 11 months.

NC State Dining provides food services to the North Carolina State University campus, operating various cafes, dining halls, markets, and catering.

Working Title: Catering Driver

Work Schedule: Hours vary based on business needs, may include evenings and weekends.

Other Work/Responsibilities:

• Be an ambassador for NC State Dining and enrich campus community life.
• Work as a cohesive team member and maintain a positive environment.
• Contribute to maintaining a Grade A sanitation rating of 95% or better.

Minimum Experience/Education: High School Diploma or equivalency; experience in a similar capacity.

Department Required Skills:

• Drive safely on campus with attention to public safety.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Years Experience: Prior experience driving a box truck.

Required License: North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $15.00 per hour
