Essential Job Duties: Rave! Catering is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as a Catering Events Supervisor. The primary purpose is to supervise prep work and setup for catering events. Duties include supervising staff in the absence of a coordinator, executing Banquet Event Orders, preparing silverware and napkins, providing food and beverage service for buffets, receptions, and meals, and other duties as assigned.

NC State Dining provides campus-wide food services and offers flexible schedules, training, and potential for growth.

Working Title: Catering Event Supervisor

Work Schedule: Hours vary depending on events, may include evenings and weekends.

Other Responsibilities: Be an ambassador for NC State Dining, contribute to a positive work environment, and maintain high sanitation standards.

Minimum Experience/Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.

Department Required Skills: Provide outstanding customer service, adaptability, time management, teamwork, communication skills, ability to follow instructions, organization, and physical requirements like standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Experience: Previous catering or food service experience, supervisory experience, and knowledge of food safety procedures.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $16 per hour
