Catering Supervisor
Job Summary

In your catering supervisor role, you will lead food preparation and catering setup and mentor student team members in their catering production work and learning. From morning breaks to VIP events, no two days are the same. In this position, you will also help with other dining-related efforts, such as inventory and ensuring we have a safe, sanitary dining experience behind the scenes and in our front-of-house.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently needed
Work Schedule and Location
100% onsite. Variable schedule-including nights and weekends to support events.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Assigns and coordinates the day-to-day activities of food service staff
- Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas
- Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods
- Leads and provides exceptional customer service, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation, catering, and associated activities
- Develops and schedules logistics and menus for daily and catering operations
