Overview
- Tanker trailer hauling liquid chemicals.
- Home for 34-48-hours typically on weekends.
- 3-5 loads per week.
Pay and bonus potential
- Pay recently increased by up to $.04 per mile.
- Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
- Weekly performance pay.
- Earn up to $0.03 more per mile by obtaining additional CDL certifications.
- $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
- $7,500 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
- Paid orientation.
- Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Tanker endorsement required at time of hire.
- HazMat endorsement required within 60 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
- Live within 75 miles of Cincinnati, OH, Coraopolis, PA, Obetz, OH or Seville, OH.
