Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Center for Nursing and Healthcare Workforce Manager - College of Nursing at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
- Organize the CNHW team in the oversight of the office, stakeholder engagements, and meetings.
- Oversee and supervise the day-to-day activities of the project office. Will coordinate activities in collaboration with the Project Director. Ensure accurate and timely communications and responses from the office. Communicate and collaborate with all partners associated with the project, including university leadership and health system partner leadership.
- Develops and implements comprehensive evaluation of the project in collaboration with the MI-AHEC team which includes development of surveys, monitoring and coordinating the evaluation team. Prepare reports for the project evaluation.
- Monitor the grant budget, expenditures, and financial reporting.
- Seek, build, and develop ongoing relationships and partnerships with college faculty and healthcare workforce stakeholders in the university and the state of Michigan. Monitor the nursing and healthcare workforce using national, regional, and state level data.
- Support the Project Director (Dean of the College of Nursing) with quarterly reports, dissemination activities and management of the project goals and objectives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in health-related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience). At least 2 years of experience as a program assistant, research assistant in a health-related program. Experience with grant reports, budgets, and project coordination.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both orally and in writing. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well in cross-functional team settings, changes approach or method to best fit the situation, reacts to successes and failures with a learning orientation. Organizational Skills: Demonstrated project management skills, prioritization of work activities, planning work activities, and being able to deal with change or unexpected events. Management Skills: Excellent problem-solving ability combined with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects; develop strategies to achieve departmental goals.

Funding/salary information: Compensation type: Annual Salary, Salary hire maximum: 75,000.
Working conditions: Oversees the daily operations of the Center for Nursing and Healthcare Workforce (CNHW), within the College of Nursing. Responsible for development and ongoing management of the office, stakeholder engagements, oversight of the project reports, meetings and evaluation with the Michigan Area Health Education Center and Project Director. This position will report into the Dean, College of Nursing. Normal office environment.
