In this role, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to a leading public health department. You will coordinate resources, events and stakeholder engagement, enabling world-class research and teaching to thrive.
What you will deliver:
- Provide high-level executive support to the Centre Director and senior staff, including complex diary and correspondence management.
- Coordinate meetings, seminars, conferences and travel logistics, ensuring details are accurate, timely and aligned with University processes.
- Act as first point of contact for staff and students, advising on policies, procedures, expenses and approvals.
- Improve local administrative systems, records and workflows to enhance efficiency and support strategic Centre and School projects.
- Maintain Centre resources, spaces and communications, including website content, office coordination and OHS-related inductions and documentation.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, or bring equivalent experience in complex office and executive administration.
- Demonstrate experience supporting senior academic or research staff, including complex travel, meetings, committees and accurate records management.
- Coordinate events, courses or forums end-to-end, from planning and promotion to logistics, registration and follow-up.
- Manage competing deadlines confidently, setting priorities, working calmly under pressure and contributing positively within collaborative teams.
- Communicate clearly in writing and in person, building productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Use Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams and web content tools confidently, with capacity to learn new university systems.
