Centre Coordinator for the Resource Efficiency Collective [Maternity Cover]
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Resource Efficiency Collective, led by Professor Jonathan Cullen, at the Department of Engineering's central Cambridge site.
The Centre Coordinator holds a senior administrative role within the team and is responsible for developing and maintaining the administrative policy and processes for the Resource Efficiency Collective to ensure the smooth running of research and teaching related activities. This involves managing project timelines and a budget, managing external partner networks, running workshop and conference events, assisting with bids for funding, and co-ordinating the group's HR and administrative processes.
Educated to degree level or an equivalent level of practical experience, you will have expertise in using various types of administration software as well as possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Previous administrative experience, including the use of systems to manage HR, IT, finances, communication, website curation and social media are essential requirements for this role.
Temporary cover: This is a maternity cover post which is fixed-term until 31 March 2027 or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
