At Student Health Services (SHS), our mission is to foster positive patient outcomes by providing professional medical and psychiatric services for Augusta University students.

Job Summary

Provides supervised health care services to patients and performs a variety of administrative and clinical support duties related to the Student Health clinic operations.

Responsibilities

The duties include but are not limited to: providing patient care, documentation, and participating in safety and quality processes.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma, GED or equivalent with a minimum of two years of experience and a CCMA-Certified Clinical Medical Assistant credential. Must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/BCLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an outpatient healthcare clinic, using an electronic health record, and administering vaccines.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in Microsoft Office and infection prevention policies.

SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

ABILITIES: Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Certifications/License

Must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/BCLS certification.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days; M-F. Pay Band: B3. Salary: $16.54/hourly-$18.26/hourly.
