Essential Qualifications: Chair Research Fellow must have Ph.D. in the area of the study for the chair. Desirable: Ph.D. in the domains of study of Tribe, i.e. History, Culture, Economy, Freedom movements, Language, and development.

Candidate Profile: The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records. The candidate should have excellent communication. Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students. The candidate should have good research record.

Consolidate Monthly Remuneration: 35,000/- per month

Term & Conditions: Selection for Chair Research Fellow is subject to approval and sanction of fund by UGC. During the engagement process or after engagement of the above posts if suppression of facts are detected, the application will be rejected and the applicant will be liable for action as applicable under the provisions of rules and laws in force. Any amendment to the scheme will be applicable and bound to stakeholder as per order of the Competent Authority. Scheme is co-terminus with chair. Initially the engagement for the said post will be up to 31st March 2025 or until further order, whichever is earlier. It may also be extendable as per the terms and conditions of the scheme and based on the performance of the incumbent. In case of any ambiguity pertaining to term and conditions of the Engagement, the decision of the Competent Authority shall be final.
