Other related duties, as assigned Qualifications Minimum Education - Earned doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent terminal degree} in Psychology, Counseling, or closely related discipline Minimum Experience •Five (S} years' field experience in Clinical practice experience in counseling, clinical mental health, or psychology-related field •Five (5) years teaching experience at the college or university level •Teaching and research qualifying the incumbent for at least the rank of Associate Professor in the area of specialization Licenses/Certifications - Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities •In-depth knowledge of Psychology and Counseling disciplines •Knowledge of trends and best practices in higher education related to psychology •Demonstrated integrity •Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal} •Strong time management skills •Passion for teaching and engaging with students •Skilled in mentoring students •Ability to provide professional leadership and handle complex issues •Ability to work well with colleagues and foster a collegial environment conducive to teamwork and students' high level of learning •Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with stakeholders •Demonstrates grantsmanship ability
