The Strategy and Planning Group is a multidisciplinary team responsible for university-wide strategic leadership, planning frameworks and processes, as well as business analytics and intelligence to support Executive decision making. We report to government on our funding and undertake benchmarking and environmental scanning. The Group includes the portfolio office and has responsibility for the strategic transformation programme, including design, delivery, and change.
The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
In this role, you will report to the Assistant Vice-Chancellor - Strategy & Planning and be responsible for designing and delivering integrated change strategies and frameworks that support workforce transition, capability uplift, and business readiness as part of AUT’s Academic and Capital Plan. You will ensure future state organisational design is well planned, and that people impact is understood, planned for, and effectively managed and evaluated.
You will
- Provide strategic enterprise change leadership
- Work proactively with the business and the Director Organisational Change to ensure the change is organised and coordinated
- Engage effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the university
- Deliver successful change communication
- Support transition including design and change
