Bond University is seeking a motivated, experienced, and customer-focused Chef de Partie to join our vibrant Food and Beverage team.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality food in line with set guidelines, ensuring consistency, safety, and excellence in every dish. You’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming dining experience for students, staff, and guests.
Your contribution will help make Bond’s dining venues a place where people enjoy great food, professional service, and a safe, enjoyable atmosphere. You’ll also ensure compliance with all relevant OH&S and food safety regulations.
About the person
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed an apprenticeship or trade certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, with relevant experience progressing toward a Certificate IV or Diploma
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a high-paced commercial kitchen
- Proven expertise in buffet and a′ la Carte service, as well as the ability to execute diverse event styles
- High level of precision in food preparation and presentation
- A working knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and its application to the workplace
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $88,452 per annum, plus 12% superannuation. The salary is comprised of a base salary of $66,505.58 plus super and an F&B loading.
