Invasive Gynecology Surgery Division. Expertise is required in the specific area of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have formal fellowship training in MIGS. Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Teaching responsibilities may include training and supervision of Ob/Gyn residents and medical students with plans to start a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Our growing practice provides multidisciplinary care of patients with complex conditions such as: *Fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding, *Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis and *Abnormal placentation and complex ectopic pregnancies. The MIGS surgeons at Penn Medicine provide expertise in multiple surgical modalities such as laparoscopy, robotics, and operative hysteroscopy. The new Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery will join a cadre of surgeons at Penn Medicine who are nationally known for their surgical expertise, research, education and innovation.
