Key Responsibilities:

• Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm, No Call
• Travel of up to 25% required
• Lead a growing dental program which serves about 70,000 Veterans.
• Accountable and for effective and efficient management as well as the supervision of the dental program and services
• Administrative, programmatic, clinical, and academic oversight of all dental program aspects to meet the needs of the Veteran population
• Ensuring compliance with all accrediting organizations' standards that are applicable to dental programs
• Assures that performance measures are met, provides efficient management of resources and budgetary constraints, facilities a collaborative and collegial team environment, develops orientation and training of dental staff and identifies needs and concerns concerning the service
• May qualify for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period)

What We Offer:

• Competitive Salary: $290,000 - $318,000
• Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and potential 5-day paid absence for CME.

Preferred Experience:

• Board Certified Dentistry required
• Fellowship training and prior leadership experience preferred
• Demonstrated scholarly activities (e.g. research, education, and publications)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
