Kansas State University is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Provost and Executive Vice President. This role involves leading strategic initiatives, providing executive advice, and overseeing operations within the Office of the Provost.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management of Institutional Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives (35%): Lead and coordinate high-impact projects aligned with university priorities.
- Executive-Level Advisor to the Provost (25%): Serve as a senior advisor, providing strategic guidance and analysis.
- Executive-Level Communications (25%): Facilitate communication between the Provost’s Office and stakeholders.
- Administrative Oversight (10%): Oversee operations of the Provost’s Office.
- University Engagement and Coordination (5%): Build relationships with key stakeholders across the university.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- 7-10+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic planning, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of university operations and experience at a land-grant institution.
