Description
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of laryngeal, airway and esophageal disorders. The selected applicant will serve as the Chief of the Laryngology Division. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Must be board certified or board eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include medical student and resident education as well as formal lectures on an annual basis.
Clinical responsibilities may include the medical and surgical treatment of patients with laryngeal, pharyngo-esophageal and airway pathologies.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include a strong interest in developing a clinical and translational research program with collaborations within and outside the department. Applicants should have an established record of scholarship activity and/or research programs related to laryngology/esophagology.
