Position Description

There are about 30 academic research projects ongoing which focus on semiconductor optoelectronics, power and microwave, display and imaging, MEMS and sensors, new semiconductor devices and basic materials, organic and flexible electronics, material big data and artificial intelligence, and electronic information equipment etc. The average research project funding reaches 60 million RMB. CTO as a key role in research projects team, we expect our candidates:

1. Leading a academic research team, organize and implement scientific research under the leadership of the project owner.
2. Responsible for the overall planning of the technical route as chief scientific expert;
3. Provide key academic opinions to the project owner during the final decision making at essential part of project;
4. Responsible for the establishment of scientific research team, developing key talents for sub-projects, and driving key members of the team to higher academic level;
5. As a routine member of the professional committees, participate and contribute to the construction of science and technology capabilities of Gusu Laboratory of Materials.

Qualifications

1. Candidates must have completed their Ph.D in well-known universities in China and abroad, more than 5 years of postdoctoral or scientific research experience; Scholars from well-known universities, research institutions at home and abroad or chief technical experts of world-famous enterprises are preferable;
2. Candidates who have carried out innovative research and achieve breakthrough results in the frontier field of the subject, and have important academic and social influence;
3. Possess independent intellectual property rights, invention patents or capable of relevant core technologies, or have successful entrepreneurial experience in China and abroad;
4. We seek candidates whose research areas include: spectral imaging, image processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, material simulation calculation, Single crystal materials, battery recovery technology, electronic energy spectrum, etc.
