The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Child Development Center Aide. The incumbent under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of duties to support the Child Development Center staff related to the care and education of young children. This recruitment will be open continuously and will establish an eligibility list valid for twelve (12) months from the date placed on the list. Screening and assessments will be administered on a continuous basis. The list will be used to fill current and future vacancies for this classification throughout the District. This recruitment will also establish a substitute pool for temporary assignments.

Salary: Range CL-22

$18.91 - $23.65 Hourly

$3,278 - $4,100 Monthly (based on 40 hours per week)

Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($18.91 per hour) or B ($20.00 per hour) on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Completion of a minimum of 12 units in college-level coursework in child development.
