CHVI Project Manager
The Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a Project Manager to join our Center for High Value Imaging (CHVI). This full-time position plays a key role in supporting the administration of CHVI.
The Project Manager will work closely with the Program Director and Medical Director of CHVI and will be responsible for planning, executing and successfully completing projects associated with the key initiatives of CHVI, making sure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
- Creates a project plan, monitors progress and performance against the project plan, and identifies, resolves, or escalates risks and issues
- Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and collaborates with project staff to meet project targets and milestones
- Manages the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
- Facilitates the estimation of project costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase of a project and monitors activities, negotiates for resources, and assigns tasks to ensure these targets are met. Follows established change control processes if targets can no longer be met

Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $87,473; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications: At least two years of project management experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to create detailed project plans and schedules. Proficient at managing time and resources. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communications skills. Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Candidates with certification of Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) will be given first consideration.
