Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with specialization in structural engineering (with preference given to those who have U.S. experience in teaching or industry, and to holders of P.E. licenses). Postdoctoral experience and/or expertise in teaching will be an advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate- and graduate-levels, build a strong research program, attract external funding, advise undergraduate and graduate students, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in service activities in the department, School and the University.
