Our nursing program is renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, clinical practice, and research. We seek a PhD/DNP-prepared (or equivalent) faculty member with academic experience, a productive program of scholarship, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to better health for all people through quality advanced practice and doctoral-level nursing education. The successful candidate will have teaching, clinical, and administrative responsibilities within the nursing program at YSN. This position may include additional leadership or administrative responsibilities.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver innovative and engaging curriculum.
- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to students in various healthcare settings.
- Contribute to advancing nursing knowledge through research and scholarly activities.
- Participate in administrative duties such as curriculum development, student advising, and committee work.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall quality of YSN programs.
- Engage in community outreach and professional development activities to promote academic nursing.

Qualifications
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- A terminal degree (Ph.D., DNP, or equivalent) in Nursing or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical practice is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative responsibilities effectively is preferred.
- Commitment to advancing the School's mission of better health for all people.
- A record of scholarly achievement, including publications and presentations in relevant areas.
- Eligibility for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of CT.
