CIRCLES Postdoctoral Researcher
The College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for the Cultivating Indigenous Research Communities for Leadership in Education and STEM (CIRCLES) Alliance. The Postdoctoral Researcher will work under Dr. Philip Stevens but will also be involved in supporting Program Principal Investigators in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and the College of Natural Resources. The position will focus on supporting the research aims of the CIRCLES Alliance, particularly the analysis and dissemination of qualitative research examining the experiences of students enrolled in the Certificate in Indigenous Research and Education (CIRE). The Postdoctoral Researcher will contribute specialized research capacity to ensure timely, rigorous, and high-quality data analysis and porting aligned with existing project objectives.
A key emphasis of this role is advancing research that supports Indigenous STEM, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, and Tribal Nation-building approaches within K-12 and higher education contexts. The Postdoctoral Researcher will work with interdisciplinary faculty, community, and tribal partners to support reciprocal and sovereignty-affirming research practices and dissemination.
This is a full-time, 12 month postdoctoral appointment with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.
