Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the Access Services department of the library, including circulation, reserves, stacks maintenance, study rooms, and personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for supervising 1-2 permanent staff and 1-4 student workers.
Qualifications Required:
- Good information management and technology skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supervising employees or volunteers.
- Ability to take initiative and exercise good judgment.
- A strong commitment to public service and customer service orientation.
- Ability to collaborate with others and work as a part of a team.
Preferred:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in an academic or public library.
- Experience working with an integrated library system (ILS).
Hiring Range: $45,000 - $51,277
