The successful candidate will need to have:
- A degree/diploma in Operating Department Practice, relevant Scrub professional experience and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in effective teaching in the clinical setting or higher education.
- Knowledge of current Operating Department Practice and theory.
- A commitment to CPD and innovation in Operating Department Practice.
- The ability to disseminate research findings through appropriate written, oral or other media both within the institution and externally.
