Department Information
The Enterprise Innovation Institute is Georgia Tech's economic development arm, comprised of more than a dozen programs. It's the largest and most comprehensive university-based program of its kind in the United States. Its core focus areas include entrepreneurship and startup development, business and industry growth, ecosystem development, and international outreach.

Job Summary
Coordinate initial outreach to qualify new client firms into campus unit program(s). Discover needs of prospective clients that have an interest in campus unit program(s). This position will interact on a regular basis with: client company management, senior management, and government agency representatives. This position typically will advise and counsel: client company management. This position will supervise: NA
Responsibilities
- Perform outreach to potential client firms and referral sources via direct mail, e-outreach, and personal presentations.
- Lead market research efforts to identify potential clients and stay abreast of industry trends and government policies.
- Determine initial/continued client eligibility for program based on specific program requirements.
- Develop client trust to secure classified or confidential company information to satisfy program requirements.
- File program eligibility documents, track petition progress through the approval process, and offer corrective action as appropriate to transition potential clients to qualified clients.
- Prepare metrics and reports to track and recommend areas of improvement.
- Maintain applicable database with relevant information.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance or a related Business field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Three to four years of job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's of Business Administration (MBA)
Preferred Experience
Four to five years of job related experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS: This job requires a thorough understanding of the unit's program legislation; advanced knowledge of each client's applicable reports; a full understanding of the firms product lines, production process, employment practices, and exporting/importing activities; a high degree of customer orientation and relationship-building skills; a working knowledge of research and analysis.

Salary range: $56,000.00-$65,000.00
