The role | Te mahi
As Clinic Administrator in the Auckland Dental Facility, you will provide essential administration support to our undergraduate and postgraduate dental programmes.
In this role you will provide reception support in the Auckland Dental Facility including:
- Monitoring phone calls and emails.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Meeting and greeting patients.
- Managing appointments and records.
- Payment/fees receipting and banking.
- Patient account auditing.
- Human Resources administration and training
You will manage data and files including waitlists and referrals, and upkeep patient records, using the patient management software (Titanium).

Along with excellent administration and coordination skills, you will have a strong customer service focus.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and time management skills, a flexible approach and ability to provide support where it is needed most.
Importantly you will be self-directed, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
Additional skills required include:
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.
- An inquisitive mindset and problem-solving skills.
- A desire to learn and a commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff, and patients.
- Dedication to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrated understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Māori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values.

This is a full time (37.5 hours), permanent position based in our Auckland Dental Facility based in Manurewa.
The appointment range for this role is $63,508 to $68,185. Top of Range $73,640.
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions.
