We are seeking a Clinic Receptionist to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health.

The QUT Health Clinics Clinic Receptionist provides customer focused reception support for a diverse range of allied health services. This essential role requires the ability to multi-task and balance priorities in a busy university healthcare facility.

The QUT Health Clinics (QHC) provides student-led patient care to the community. Accredited clinicians supervise students in real world quality healthcare, using advanced technology and current research evidence. Clinic services include Optometry, Podiatry, Psychology and Counselling, Nutrition and Dietetics, Exercise Physiology and Eating Disorders.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience.
  2. Demonstrated experience in healthcare reception functions with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a busy healthcare service environment.
  3. Experience with IT healthcare systems.
  4. Proven ability to meet deadlines, balance competing priorities and multi-task in a busy healthcare environment.
  5. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills, including experience in liaising with a diverse range of people.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
