Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Large Animal Surgery
Position Summary
The Department of Large Animal Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, is seeking candidates for a clinical-track faculty position in large animal surgery at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The successful candidate will join three other large animal surgeons on the daytime elective large animal surgery service. The caseload is approximately 85% equine, the remainder being primarily small ruminants, companion pigs, new world camelids, and cattle.
Instruction
The successful candidate will participate in the department’s relevant clinical rotations, as well as didactic and laboratory courses commensurate with clinical track appointment.
Service
Service to clients and referring veterinarians is an integral part of hospital duties.
Research
The successful applicant is expected to participate in scholarly activities related to the clinical service and teaching missions of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
