Clinical Assistant - Primary Care, Longwood
Department Summary
At our Longwood clinic (Children's Hospital Primary Care Clinic), pediatric primary care services include:
- Wellness checkups and preventive care
- Immunizations
- Same-day visits for illnesses and other concerns
- Services and support for children with special health care needs
- Health education
- Mental health and social support
Key responsibilities
- Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).
- Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
- Identifies and reports unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
- Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ability to work days/evenings/weekends, 8 hour shifts anytime Mon-Sun as the clinic is open 7 days/week.
Minimum qualifications
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 1 year CA experience preferred.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
