Department Summary

At our Longwood clinic (Children's Hospital Primary Care Clinic), pediatric primary care services include:

• Wellness checkups and preventive care
• Immunizations
• Same-day visits for illnesses and other concerns
• Services and support for children with special health care needs
• Health education
• Mental health and social support

Key responsibilities

• Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).
• Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
• Identifies and reports unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
• Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ability to work days/evenings/weekends, 8 hour shifts anytime Mon-Sun as the clinic is open 7 days/week.

Minimum qualifications

Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 1 year CA experience preferred.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
