Position Summary
The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor. We seek an individual who will teach in the areas of Biotechnology, Pharmaceutics/Compounding & Formulation, Pharmacogenomics, Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Pharmaceutics/ Drug Delivery, and other pharmaceutics-related courses.
Additional Requirements: Applicants must hold a Pharm.D. degree and have a current license or demonstrate the ability to become licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Previous teaching history in a College/School of Pharmacy is preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the undergrad and graduate/Pharm D programs of the College of Pharmacy. (80%)
- Develop and maintain a nationally recognized educational program. (10%)
- Involvement and leadership in the department, college, and University committees, as well as health systems and professional organizations. (10%)
