About the College/Unit/Department
The School of Computing (SoC) is a growing and congenial school of 46 faculty within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering. The SoC has nearly 1800 undergraduate students, and 220 graduate students, and offers the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, B.S. and MS degrees in Data Science, and an M.S. degree in Cybersecurity and Privacy.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should hold a PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Position Summary: The School of Computing at the University of Georgia invites applications for one clinical assistant professor position starting August 2026. This is a full-time 9-month non-tenure-track position. The position will involve teaching with other parts being a combination of corporate outreach, and/or program coordination, and/or research (with emphasis on applied and/or pedagogy related scholarship).
Additional Requirements: The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years professional experience in the field that enables them to support student career preparation through connections with corporate partners/internships and/or career-development curricula. A candidate with a lesser degree but a significantly longer record of professional work and accomplishments may be considered.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: The candidate should show a commitment to excellence in teaching.
