Clinical Assistant Professor - Department of Supply Chain Management

The Department of Supply Chain Management in the W. P. Carey School of Business at ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track faculty appointment in the areas of operations, supply management, business analytics, logistics, or AI in supply chain management, beginning Fall 2026.
Essential Functions:
The candidate must effectively teach Supply Chain Management courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; help develop new courses and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance our unique department culture.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- An earned doctorate - Ph.D. or DBA- in Supply Chain Management or related field by July 1, 2026
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, as evidenced by organization and communication skills or strong teaching evaluations
- Demonstrated potential for scholarship within the supply chain management, operations, logistics, and/or business administration profession through some of the following activities: published or in-process research, an active learning agenda, papers, articles, tutorials, or manuals related to teaching and learning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to meet AACSB business accreditation standards for participating faculty
- Demonstrated knowledge of artificial intelligence through innovative teaching practices, cutting-edge research, and/or through leadership in academic or professional communities
- Excellence in teaching multiple courses in supply chain management, business analytics, operations, logistics and/or business administration courses
- Significant service and professional contributions to the supply chain management profession
- Experience with training and industry partnerships
- Teaching experience in a variety of platforms, including executive, onsite, online, graduate and undergraduate levels.
