Clinical Assistant Professor/Director of Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Program Spring 2026
Job Summary
The responsibilities of this non-tenure track 12-month Clinical Assistant faculty position include teaching, mentorship, and service.
Faculty member will provide engaged instruction; develop curricula using repository of CoNAH and FDU resources; assess student learning; supervise activities in laboratory and experiential learning settings, advise and support students, ability to manage sensitive issues with decorum and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Required: An earned master's degree.
- Required: Clinical and didactic teaching experience.
Applicants should be proficient in using computer systems, including spreadsheets, internet, videoconferencing, and e-mail. They are expected to be well-organized, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and manage sensitive issues with decorum and confidentiality.
Responsibilities/Qualifications: Director of Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Program
The faculty member will also be the Director/Coordinator of Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Program which focuses on employing/integrating technology to support humanistic care, especially electronic health record technology.
The faculty member will provide engaged instruction; develop curricula; assess course and student outcomes, conduct faculty development activities, advise and support students.
In addition to satisfying the qualifications for the faculty position, the minimum, and preferred requirements for the Director of Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Program are
- Required: A strong background in integrating electronic health record technology (i.e., EPIC) into clinical care.
- Preferred: Experience in curriculum development.
- Required: Experience in evaluation and outcome assessment
Employment is contingent upon satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will have to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security card.
