We are seeking to expand our faculty with new positions on our Oculoplastics Service, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative academic environment. Opportunities for partnering with other disciplines exist and the ideal candidate will be interested in innovative program development that addresses the clinical and research needs of our patients. Contributions toward teaching and administration are highly valued. This position entails providing outstanding care based in Ann Arbor and our surrounding community offices. We welcome applicants to apply who are Board-eligible or certified in ophthalmology and have completed an oculoplastics fellowship. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications. Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses. Job openings are posted for a minimum of seven calendar days. The review and selection process may begin as early as the eighth day after posting.
