Clinical Associate Physician Emergency Medicine

The Clinical Associate Physician Emergency Medicine will primarily provide patient care services in the Emergency Department at UCI Health - Los Alamitos with the potential to work at other sites in the future. Clinical Associate is expected to comply with all compliance standards, complete all required trainings, and follow proper documentation process to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.
Your Role on the Team
Direct Patient Care:
- Examine, diagnose and provide treatment for Emergency Department patients.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and patient documentation within departmental standards.
- Complete patient encounter forms and meet the requirements outlined in the Professional Fee Billing (IL372) Compliance Plan
- Maintain UCI Medical Staff Privileges, UCI Medical Group active membership

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $299,051-$393,042.
Required:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fluid, fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to problem solve objectively
- Must possess an MD or DO and board certification/board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- California DEA registration
- California Medical License/California Medical License eligibility
Special Conditions:
- Ability to obtain UCI med staff credentials
