Job Description

Position is located in Kennett Square, PA where there is no public transportation available. You must have your own transportation.

Job Responsibilities:

Providing general patient care including grooming, daily stall cleaning and disinfecting, feeding and watering, walking, applying standing wraps, and stocking clinical areas.
Horse handling and restraint for procedures, medical exams and surgery, hydrotherapy, and additional animal husbandry duties as assigned.
Maintain patient treatment areas and equipment after procedures have been completed in addition to other housekeeping or grounds keeping tasks as assigned. Documenting stall cleaning status as needed and following Bio security protocols.
Collaborating frequently with other members of the clinical care team.
Client interactions including admitting and discharging patients.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Ability to perform strenuous work and tolerate exposure to weather, chemicals and allergens required.

Clinical Care Technician A: 0-1 years of large animal handling experience is required.

Clinical Care Technician B: 1-3 years of large animal handling including equine experience is required.
