Job Description
The Clinical Compliance & Scheduling Coordinator is a full-time, staff position on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe, NC. Under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Allied Health, the Clinical Compliance & Scheduling Coordinator manages, tracks, and audits student and faculty compliance documentation required for clinical placement across all Allied Health and Nursing programs. This position serves as the primary liaison between the College, health sciences students, and clinical affiliate agencies to ensure strict adherence to state, federal, and institutional health and safety regulations.

Continue professional development for the improvement of self and the department to meet the needs of a learning-centered collegeWork with recruiters and marketing to promote SPCCDepartmental Expectations -Compliance Management- Coordinate, monitor, and maintain documentation of Nursing and Allied Health student and faculty compliance with clinical site requirements at admission and on an annual basis, including:
o Immunizations, health records, physical exams
o Background checks and drug screenings
o CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
o TB testing (annual)
o Required facility specific training modules
- Notify students and faculty of upcoming deadlines or deficiencies
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met prior to clinical participation
o Contact students regularly for non-compliance
- Assist Clinical Coordinators with facilitating Epic access for students through Novant and Atrium systems
- Assist the Executive Director of Nursing and/or Clinical Coordinators with clinical site requests and related needs, as assigned by the Executive Director of Nursing or Assistant Dean of Allied Health.
System Administration (mCE Platform)- Maintain accurate student, faculty, and clinical site records
- Generate reports related to compliance and facility requirements
- Troubleshoot system issues and support users
Communication & Support- Serve as liaison between Allied Health students, Nursing students, faculty, and clinical coordinator
- Provide training and guidance on mCE usage for students and faculty
- Respond to student & faculty inquiries related to clinical requirements
- Communicate updates regarding compliance and clinical expectations
- Communicate with Atrium and Novant liaisons regarding technical access and compliance concerns
Data Management & Reporting- Maintain accurate documentation within the mCE system
- Prepare reports for accreditation, audits, and program evaluation (e.g., NC Board of Nursing, CAAHEP, CAPTE requirements)
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies and healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in healthcare, healthcare management, or business administration
- Experience in healthcare, nursing education, clinical coordination, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working with databases, scheduling systems, or tracking platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications)
