Clinical Coordinator and Lecturer Nursing
Job Summary
Reporting to the Chair of the School Nursing, the non-tenure track Clinical Coordinator and Lecturer position requires didactic and/or clinical instruction and coordination of BSN clinical placements by managing student assignments, scheduling clinical rotations, overseeing onboarding and compliance for students and part-time clinical faculty, maintaining records and reports, and serving as a primary liaison to faculty, staff, and clinical partners to resolve placement needs and issues. The position is fiscal year (12-month), non-tenure track appointment, and the salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Earned Masters degree in Nursing with at least 18 graduate semester hours related to Nursing, by June 1, 2026.
- Must have an active unencumbered RN licensure in Georgia by August 1, 2026.
- Nurse Practitioner applicants must have certification and licensure as a nurse practitioner.
- Technological literacy and a commitment to integrate technology into teaching and scholarship.
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
- Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical placements within an academic health professions program.
- Previous teaching experience at the university level in baccalaureate nursing education.
- Experience in online instruction and development, and human simulation.
- Experience working with a varied student body.
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
