Clinical Education Associate
Job Summary
The Clinical Education Associate will work under the general direction of the Clinical Education Manager and/or Program Director(s), in partnership with the Clinical Education Faculty in the Department of Physician Assistant Education to compile, update, and maintain all records and documents needed for current and future clinical education (rotation) sites. The Clinical Education Associate will compile, enter, and dispatch all records and documents generated by/for students at clinical education sites; and devise methodologies to digitize clinical education paperwork and processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good computer skills necessary to set up document formats in Word, Excel, Access (or other databases), Adobe, PowerPoint, and any other software required by the position.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with administration, faculty, student, staff, health professionals, and other outside contacts.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Any combination, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities for the essential job functions.
- Minimum of three years in an office environment using word processing, electronic data input/collection software, and databases.
- Interaction with the public is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Experience in health care is preferred.
