The Opportunity

Join Charles Sturt University as a Clinical Educator on a casual basis and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of dental and oral health professionals. Based in one of our regional Dental and Oral Health Clinics, you’ll provide hands-on clinical supervision and mentorship to students, bridging academic learning with real-world practice. This role supports the development of the dental workforce in rural and regional communities while offering opportunities for professional growth and academic engagement.

About you

  • Full registration as a dental practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
  • Proven ability to empathise effectively and tailor teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles while following the principles of good clinical supervision
  • Willingness to adapt their teaching schedule as needed to facilitate collaboration with colleagues at varying times.
  • A strong desire to contribute to advancing dental education, actively contributing to the institution’s educational goals, and deriving fulfilment from teaching and mentoring future dental professionals
