Clinical Educator in Occupational Therapy
About This Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Educator in Occupational Therapy to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of occupational therapists through high-quality clinical education. Working within the Telerehabilitation Clinic at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, this role contributes to innovative, student-centred learning in clinical and practical settings, while supporting evidence-based practice and strong industry partnerships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating and supervising individual and group occupational therapy students in profession-specific and inter-professional clinical practice, including telerehabilitation
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on student clinical skill development using profession-specific tools and criteria, and supporting student-led professional development activities
- Guiding and delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for paediatric and school-based clients, ensuring high-quality, safe and sustainable services
- Contributing to curriculum development, innovative clinical education models, research activity and the School’s engagement with industry, government and professional bodies
Due to the operational needs of the clinic, the successful applicant will be required to work on-site at the St Lucia campus on a Thursday and Friday, with the remaining hours to be completed on a Wednesday (a work from home arrangement may be considered for these hours on Wednesday).
