- Part-time .6 FTE (Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays)

- $114,855 - $135,633 per annum (pro rata .6) + 17% superannuation
About the position
The Clinical Educator, Speech Pathology plays a key role in supporting and supervising students as they develop their clinical skills while delivering high-quality, supervised services to clients. Reporting to the Clinical Education Lead, the position is responsible for overseeing student-led clinics, providing guidance and feedback, and assessing students’ clinical competencies.
The role suits an experienced clinician who is passionate about student learning and maintaining best practice through ongoing professional development and current clinical registration. Experience working with adults presenting with conditions such as aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, dysphagia and voice disorders is required. Demonstrated experience or understanding in delivering gender-affirming voice services is highly desired. Experience supporting clients with progressive neurological conditions is also highly desirable.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
- Masters degree or equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience as appropriate and recognised by the University/Profession for the relevant discipline.
- Proven ability to provide effective supervision of students.
- Demonstrated ability to be effective in teaching clinical skills in face-to-face, blended and/or online modes.
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively, collaboratively and productively with staff and students from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience or understanding in delivering gender-affirming voice services and providing advice to transgender and gender-diverse individuals is highly desired.
- Experience supporting clients with progressive neurological conditions is highly desirable.
