Department of Medicine is seeking a provider dedicated to delivering empathetic patient care and improving patient experience through clinical informatics. Candidates should be energized by complex patient populations and collaborative teams, supporting informatics needs in innovation and EHR optimization.

This position is 50%-100% time, requires onsite work, and involves contact with vulnerable populations. It is for titles like Assistant Professor (CHS) or Associate Professor (CHS).

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical patient care for hospital inpatients, including pre-op and post-discharge clinics.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams for process improvement and informatics; participate in research.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows; engage in administrative and committee work.

Department: School of Medicine and Public Health / Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine. The department focuses on innovation, health equity, and comprehensive care.

Compensation: Negotiable, 12 month, with benefits including vacation, holidays, insurances, and retirement.

Required Qualifications:

• Wisconsin Medical Licensure by start date.
• Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM).
• Eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and hospital privileges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of Clinical Informatics fellowship or coursework.
• 2 years of experience as a clinical informaticist.
• For Associate Professor, meet department criteria.

Education: MD or DO, or equivalent.
