CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR
The Department of Urology seeks to fill a three-year Clinical Instructor advanced training position in the Division of Urologic Oncology. The candidate chosen for this position will be under the mentorship of the Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship Director and Urologic Oncology Division Chief. The first two years of the appointment will be focused on research and the final year will be focused on clinical practice in all areas of urologic oncology.
The selected candidate must have an MD or DO degree, or equivalent, and be board certified or board-eligible. Successful applicants will have completed urology residency before July 2026. The candidate must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected. Evidence of scholarly activity (publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at national meetings, experience in quality improvement initiatives, etc.) is also expected.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
