The College of Health Sciences is seeking applications for a Clinical Instructor in Midwifery to start in Winter 2026.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will develop, deliver, and evaluate midwifery courses, evaluate student progress, manage resources, liaise with industry, and contribute to professional activities.

Qualifications

Education: A Master’s in Midwifery is preferred, and candidates must be registered midwives in good standing.

Experience: Preference for teaching or mentoring in midwifery; minimum 5 years clinical experience for Master’s holders or 8 years for undergraduate-prepared candidates. Must demonstrate skills in teaching approaches and technology use.

Scholarship and Research: Aptitude for advancing teaching and learning through scholarship and educational technology.

Other Skills: Commitment to applied learning, ability to design learning experiences, digital literacy, and effective communication.
