Responsibilities

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will develop, deliver, and evaluate clinical, simulation, and practicum courses in nursing areas such as medical-surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, and high-intensity neonatal/pediatric care. They will evaluate student progress, manage resources, liaise with industry, participate in advisory committees, and contribute to professional and community life.

Qualifications

Education: A Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree with at least eight years of full-time recent clinical experience is also considered. Candidates must be registered nurses eligible for licensing in Qatar.

Experience: Minimum five years for Master’s-prepared candidates or eight years for Bachelor’s-prepared candidates. Preference for post-secondary teaching experience and clinical background in specified areas. Demonstrated ability in innovative teaching, academic skills, scholarship, and use of educational technology.

Other Skills: Commitment to applied learning, ability to design authentic learning experiences, digital literacy, effective communication, and leadership in technology-based projects.
