Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The instructional faculty will provide curriculum delivery in an area of expertise outlined by their education. The successful instructional faculty candidate will be part of a highly motivated, cohesive faculty of experienced educators working as an interdisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive PA curriculum preparing students to practice in a variety of clinical settings. The successful candidate will collaborate with other PA faculty members within the program to provide expertise and contribute to a collaborative working environment. This position will report directly to the Program Director. Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a medical or related field applicable to PA practice.
• PA applicants must be eligible for CA state licensure and have current NCCPA certification.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically MS Office Suite Programs (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience.
• Six (6) months of experience in the master's degree discipline.
• Ability to work as a team with administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
• Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: This position is for a per diem teacher-clinician position, up to one (1) day per week, forty-eight (48) weeks per year.
