"Clinical Laboratory Manager - Pathology | Autopsy Services"

Functions as the Clinical Lab Manager for the OSUWMC Autopsy Services and Morgue within the Department of Pathology; leads and oversees daily operations, management and customer service; manages human resources, financial and budget planning and preparation, quality improvement, safety programs, compliance program, successful inspection and accreditation processes; ensures adherence to current policies and procedures related to technical, operational, and administrative areas; manages daily operational work flow including case accessioning and assignment, technical procedures and other special procedures performed in the Autopsy Services; manages daily operational work flow including receipts, releases, and throughput in the Morgue; maintains all CAP required continuing education materials and participant documentation, oversees/maintains all monthly department statistics required by credentialing agencies; is included in many administrative discussions and decisions as a part of succession planning for the future.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences, Health related Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of relevant experience required.
